Shunt         
This was near a crossing for a BNSF line. It is not double track, single. So not sure what this is for.

Kyle Monroe General I believe this is a Track Shunt. When Crews connect it to the track, it makes the signal system believe that the block is occupied and turns the signals to red. 3/31/2009 4:14:50 PM
Jeremy Harris General Could be a xing shunt signal, if they have little room to cut a crossing they may somehow use this to trick the xing????? never seen one here in Indiana 3/31/2009 8:31:55 PM
